Registration has opened for the Wellington regional climbing competition to be held on Sunday 4th December at Hangdog in Lower Hutt.

Earlybird entry is only $20 if you register before 1 December – after that it’s the standard rate of $30.
There are five categories:
- ‘Beginner’ – max age 14, no minimum age, male and female categories, top rope only.
- ‘Youth Intermediate’ – max age 18, male and female, top rope only, grade 21 and below.
- ‘Youth Advanced’ – max age 18, male and female, lead climbers only, grade 20 and above.
- ‘Open’ – 16 and over, male and female, lead climbers only, grade 22 and above.
- ‘Masters’ – 35 and over, top rope only.
There will be spot prizes, Dynomite’s famous food stall, and great climbing on the day.
