Getting late in the season, but we had some great autumn weather for a rock-climbing camp on Banks Peninsula.
Climbing was held at Panama Rock on the Saturday, along with a nature trail and some weed control operations in the Joseph Langer Reserve.
After overnighting at the Okains Bay Campground with some great food provided by the club, we headed to Otepatotu Reserve on the Summit Road overlooking Akaroa Harbour.
A range of grades were climbed on both days, with the camp proving a great introduction to outdoor climbing & leading for some, and a useful exercise in improving skills for others.
Thanks to all who came along and participated and particularly to those who instructed and supported.
